Private booking lets the instructors who teach in a room sell one-on-one sessions on their own availability. You decide which rooms allow it; each instructor sets their own hours and prices.
Turn it on
- Go to Locations in your studio dashboard.
- On a studio room, select Private sessions and switch it on.
- Optionally set a private booking window: the hours of the day private sessions are allowed in that room. Leave it as is to use the room's normal operating hours.
- Save.
What happens next
Instructors who teach in that room can now open their availability and set prices for it from their own page. Their open times appear on their public profiles. The room is protected: a private booking cannot overlap anything already scheduled there, even across different instructors.
Payment and commission
Private sessions are paid off-platform, just like your other bookings. The session comes in as pending and the instructor confirms it and arranges payment. There is no booking commission.
Turning it off
Switch it off any time. New private bookings stop right away; sessions already booked stay on the calendar.
Who controls which hours
The window you set on the room is the outer boundary. Within it, each instructor opens their own availability, and they can split a day into several blocks (for example 9:00 to 12:00 and 2:00 to 5:00) so only the times someone is actually teaching are offered. If a stretch of the day has no one to teach, leave it out of the instructors' availability, or narrow the room's window.
