Tipping is on by default for every Stripe-card booking. The booker sees three preset buttons (10% / 15% / 20%) plus a Custom amount field at checkout. Whatever they pick is added to the line items in Stripe and routed to your connected account.
Free on every plan. Stripe-card only — off-platform methods (cash, bank, PayPal) handle tips directly between the booker and you, not through us.
What the booker sees
On the Stripe Checkout page the tip appears as its own line item next to the class fee. The total they confirm includes the tip. They get a separate receipt line for it.
Where it appears for you
- Financials: the per-booking row carries the tip cents alongside the class price. The earnings total includes tips automatically.
- Booking details: the booking page shows the breakdown (class fee + tip + add-ons).
- Stripe dashboard: the PaymentIntent's line items show the tip explicitly.
Platform fee
Zero. The platform doesn't take a percentage on tips, even on the Free plan.
Turning it off
If you'd rather not surface tipping (some markets find it awkward), there's no global toggle. Reach out to support and we'll disable the tip step on your Stripe checkout sessions.
Tipping for private sessions
Same flow. The booker sees the 10/15/20% buttons on the private-session checkout and the tip rides through to your connected account.
Tipping for retreats
Same flow at the first installment's checkout for retreat bookings. Subsequent off-session installments don't re-prompt for a tip (they're charged silently in the background). For retreat thank-you tips after the experience, the booker can pay you directly off-platform.
