Studio accounts add an instructor roster with employee and renter roles, a teacher assigned to each session, room scheduling that stops double bookings, and room rentals to visiting teachers. The pricing page shows what each studio plan includes.
Paying yearly saves 17% for teachers and 15% for studios. Card payments carry Stripe's processing fee, taken from each payment. A boost, which lists one session first in the directory until it starts, costs $5 on any plan and is not refundable.

A teacher with three weekly classes and one online class
Two evening vinyasa classes in a rented hall, a Saturday community class on pay what you can, and an online yin class on Sundays. The in-person classes run on the free plan. The online class needs Pro at $9.99 a month, which also adds class packs for regulars.
Comparing booking systems
Before you sign up for any booking system, check three things: how long the contract runs, whether it takes a cut of each booking, and what setup costs. MoveMentors has no contract, no booking commission and no setup fee, and you can set it up yourself on the free plan.

- A paid online class is paid by card only, so a student cannot pay cash for it.
- No no-show fees. Late cancellations follow the class refund policy, and nothing extra is charged.
- No automatic cancellation when a class is under-booked. You decide, and you cancel it yourself.
- No unlisted or invite-only classes. Every published class shows on your public profile.
- No level filter in the directory yet. You can set a level on each class, and it shows on the class page.
- No iOS or Android app. Clients book in the browser and can add MoveMentors to their home screen.
- No payroll. Studios pay their instructors outside MoveMentors.
- Studio accounts do not sell class packs or memberships yet. Those are part of teacher plans.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to set up my weekly yoga class again every week?
No. Create the class once, then pick every date it runs on the calendar or use the repeating schedule. Each date is its own session with its own capacity, so a class for 12 mats has 12 spots every week.
Can students pay what they can?
Yes, on every plan. Set a suggested price and a minimum, which can be zero. Students see the suggested amount at checkout and can pay more or less, down to your minimum. Class packs and promo codes do not apply to pay-what-you-can classes.
Can I teach yoga online?
Yes, on Pro at $9.99 a month, or on Premium. Connect Google Calendar for Google Meet, or connect Zoom. When a booking confirms, MoveMentors creates the join link and emails it to the student. Paid online classes are paid by card through your Stripe account; free ones need no Stripe.
Can students pay in cash or by bank transfer?
Yes. Besides card payments through Stripe, you can accept cash, bank transfer, PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, crypto or a method of your own. Those bookings confirm straight away, and you collect the money yourself.
Can I sell recordings of my classes?
Yes, on Pro and Premium. Upload videos to your library and sell them, and you keep the full sale. Storage and streaming are paid from prepaid video credit, separate from your plan.
Does MoveMentors take a commission on yoga bookings?
No. There is no booking commission on any plan. Card payments go to your own Stripe account, and Stripe's processing fee applies to each one. MoveMentors earns from paid plans and optional extras such as boosts and reminders.
