MoveMentors pricing for teachers and studios
MoveMentors is free to start. Teachers pay $9.99 a month for Pro or $19.99 for Premium, and studios pay $49 or $99. Paying yearly saves 17% for teachers and about 15% for studios. There is no commission on bookings and no booking fee for clients; card payments carry Stripe's fee.

These optional extras are paid to MoveMentors separately from your plan, and they never touch your class payments.
Session boost
$5 per session
Teachers on any plan can move an upcoming session to the top of the directory until it starts. Boosts are not refundable. Studio sessions can't be boosted yet.
WhatsApp and text reminders
$0.10 per message
Clients get a reminder before class on WhatsApp, or by text if they don't use WhatsApp. It works on any plan, for teachers and studios, from prepaid credit, so there is no surprise bill. Available for phone numbers in these countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
Video library credit
$1.20 per hour of video stored each month, plus $0.24 per hour watched
On Pro and Premium you can sell or share recorded classes and keep 100% of every sale. Storage and streaming are paid from prepaid video credit.
Card payments and what clients pay
Card processing
MoveMentors takes 0% commission on class payments, on every plan. Card payments go straight to your own Stripe account, and Stripe charges its processing fee: about 2.9% plus $0.30 per payment in the US, with different rates in other countries. Bookings paid in cash or by bank transfer have no card fee.
What clients pay
Clients pay the price the teacher or studio sets, and nothing more: MoveMentors adds no booking fee. They can book as a guest, without creating an account.

Two example setups, calculated from today's prices and compared with a platform that keeps 20% of every booking.
Card fees assume every booking is paid by card at Stripe's standard US rate of 2.9% plus $0.30 per payment.

Pricing questions
How much does MoveMentors cost?
Teachers can use MoveMentors for free, or pay $9.99 a month for Pro and $19.99 a month for Premium. Studios can also start free, or pay $49 a month for Studio Pro and $99 for Studio Premium. Paying yearly costs less, and MoveMentors takes no commission on bookings.
Is the Free plan really free, and what does it leave out?
Yes. There is no monthly fee and no commission, and you can list unlimited classes and take bookings. Free teacher profiles show ads to visitors and hold 2 photos. Class packs, promo codes, online classes, the ID verified badge and the video library start on Pro; memberships, the booking widget and retreats are on Premium. Studios on Free get the instructor roster and space rentals, and the class photo album and video library start on Studio Pro.
Can I cancel or switch plans?
Yes, at any time, from the billing page in your settings. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for and then does not renew. Your account moves to the Free plan, and your profile and classes stay online. To change plans, choose another plan on the same page; you see the price before you confirm.
Are subscriptions and boosts refundable?
No. Subscriptions and boosts are paid in advance and are not refunded, including for unused time, except where the law requires it. If you cancel, you keep your paid plan until the end of the billing period, and a boost stays active until its session starts.
Do clients pay a booking fee?
No. Clients pay the price the teacher or studio sets, and MoveMentors adds nothing on top. They can also book as a guest, without creating an account.
What do card payments cost?
MoveMentors takes 0% of your class payments. Card payments are made on your own Stripe account, so Stripe's processing fee applies: about 2.9% plus $0.30 per payment in the US, and a different rate in other countries. Bookings paid in cash or by bank transfer have no card fee.
Do studios and teachers need separate plans?
A studio account and a teacher account each have their own plan, so a studio only pays for its studio plan. Instructors who teach at a studio, as staff or as visiting renters, do not need a paid plan of their own; their teacher account can stay on Free. The one exception: a studio can choose to rent its space only to teachers with the ID verified badge, which starts on teacher Pro.
