Retreats are multi-day experiences sold as one booking that covers the whole arc. They're a Premium-plan feature because they unlock the installment-payment surface (see Installment payments).
Examples: a five-night retreat in Tulum, a week-long teacher training, a three-day deep dive at a mountain studio.
Where to create one
Retreats → Create retreat in the sidebar. The form pre-locks the kind to Retreat, so the kind picker is hidden.
Arc capacity vs per-session capacity
Two cap fields:
- Per-session capacity (in the General section): cap on any single day's bookings. Useful if a single yoga session can hold 20 but the retreat house only sleeps 12.
- Arc capacity (in the Retreat settings section): one cap across the whole retreat. When set, the public spots-remaining counter shows seats left in the arc, not in any one day. Leave blank to fall back to per-session.
For most retreats, set arc capacity = number of beds. That's the bottleneck.
Cancellation policy
Pick one of four tiers:
| Tier | Full refund window | Partial (50%) window | Inside |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flexible 90 | 90+ days out | 60-90 days | 0% under 60 |
| Moderate 60 | 60+ days out | 30-60 days | 0% under 30 |
| Strict 30 | 30+ days out | — | 0% under 30 |
| Custom | Your own rules | — | Manual refunds |
The first three are computed automatically by the platform's refund endpoint. Custom turns off the tier table and shows your free-text policy verbatim; refunds become manual.
Agenda
Same shape as an event but typically multi-day. Set the day number (1, 2, 3...) and a few blocks per day. Bookers see the full arc before they commit.
Installment plans
Optional. See Installment payments for the full walkthrough.
